Kiaan is a funny and loving 13 year old. He loves building and making things with his hands and is very creative.

Kiaan always loved school but he struggled with his attention span and reading from a young age. In Grade 1 he was diagnosed with ADHD and in Grade 3 also with dyslexia. Because of this, he struggled with reading and also to understand wat he read. In that time, we took Kiaan to a dyslexia spesialist who helped him to overcome some of these difficulties.

In his Grade 7 year we did some online research about his struggles and came across Edublox. Sceptical at first, we took him for an assessment. The results told us what we already knew. Kiaan struggled with reading and comprehension and a few other things that needed attention. We decided to give Edublox a try.

At first, we thought, he would get bored quickly but since day one he loved going there. There was not one day that he told us he didn’t want to go. This was great as Kiaan gets bored very easily.

Kiaan’s reading improved a lot and he now reads with comprehension. His spelling is also much better than a year ago. His self-esteem has improved and he believes in himself again. English is now his favourite subject in school.
