My son Ethan Bailie was battling at school in Gr. 1. He was in the support class, and doing speech therapy. By the end of the 2nd term we were told he needed two lessons, as he was not coping. His school said they didn’t think he would pass at the end of the year as he wasn’t concentrating or remembering things. We had just gotten his report and it was bad; inside was a pamphlet about Edublox. I phoned Marj and had him assessed.
Marj said he needed a 2-week intensive course. He did the intensive course, a holiday course and even went to Edublox 4 times a week.
WOW, is all I can really say. He is talking clearly now, his concentration has improved. He can remember things now. His confidence has improved. He is a very happy child now and the best thing we have ever done was taking a chance and sending him to Edublox. He is going to Gr. 2 next year and I’m such a proud mommy as Ethan has fought a long and hard learning battle and has come out a winner. A big thanks to all at Edublox!!
He still battles a bit with phonics and auditory processing, but is a lot better than when he first started at Edublox.
