I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you how grateful I am to you and your team for what you have done for Mila — from a girl who struggled with reading and was not able to tell a B from a D, to a confident young girl that has become responsible in class work, her homework and studying for the exams.
After her evaluation end of Grade 2 (2013), we decided to do the one-on-one intensive program with her in early January 2014. This helped us to identify her weaknesses and her strengths; showed her that she was capable of more. We continued with a weekly lesson and slowly but surely her confidence, concentration and memory grew.
Another of your programs that made a huge difference in her life is the Studiblox study method course she did in March 2016. It improved the way she learns, remembers data and writes essays. It makes me happy to see how she applies the methods and techniques you taught her to her study material. (Without me nagging.)
After 2½ years with Edublox Phalaborwa, I can proudly say that I rarely have to check her homework and her marks have improved beautifully. She brought home a wonderful report card this term and she is in the academic Top 10 of her grade. Such a proud moment!
If I can give some advice to parents starting out the Edublox journey — consistency is the key and you should encourage them to stay with the program, even when they want to give up. Some kids show improvement in a short period of time and others take a little longer, but once that light bulb goes on there is no stopping them.
